Teramnus uncinatus subsp. axilliflorus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika, Komoro, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Teramnus uncinatus subsp. axilliflorus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Georg Theodor Kotschy pada tahun 1970.
