Ternstroemia brasiliensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Venezuela selatan hingga Brazil timur dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia brasiliensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Cambessèdes pada tahun 1828.
