Ternstroemia carnosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil. Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia carnosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jacques Cambessèdes pada tahun 1828.
