Ternstroemia chapaensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam Selatan. Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia chapaensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis François Gagnepain pada tahun 1942.
