Ternstroemia dura adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia dura pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Allan Gleason pada tahun 1931.
