Ternstroemia patens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia. Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia patens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pieter Willem Korthals pada tahun 1855.
