Ternstroemia polypetala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pentaphylacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Malawi utara. Nama ilmiah Ternstroemia polypetala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hans Melchior pada tahun 1934.
