Tetraplasandra waimeae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan 'ohe kiko 'ola. Nama ilmiah Tetraplasandra waimeae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Wawra von Fernsee pada tahun 1873.
