Tetrapterys buxifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba hingga Hispaniola. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan boxleaf. Nama ilmiah Tetrapterys buxifolia diperkenalkan oleh Antonio José Cavanilles pada tahun 1790.
