Thelocactus rinconensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Thelocactus rinconensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Poselger pada tahun 1923.
