Thelypteris alta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Maluku (Seram), Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris alta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Guido Georg Wilhelm Brause pada tahun 1968.
