Thelypteris aspera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Indo-China hingga Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris aspera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1965.
