Thelypteris deflexa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Venezuela dan Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris deflexa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1967.
