Thelypteris hispidula merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan roughhairy maiden fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris hispidula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Decaisne pada tahun 1968.
