Thelypteris imbricata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris imbricata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frederik Michael Liebmann pada tahun 1968.
