Thelypteris palustris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian tengah hingga Meksiko, Bermuda, Kuba, Temp. Eurasia, Maroko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan eastern marsh fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris palustris diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Wilhelm Schott pada tahun 1834.
