Thelypteris peltata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sumatra hingga Jawa Barat. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris peltata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Cornelis Rugier Willem Karel van Alderwerelt van Rosenburgh pada tahun 1968.
