Thelypteris pilosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan softhairy maiden fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris pilosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Martin Martens pada tahun 1951.
