Thelypteris puberula merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan showy maiden fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris puberula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1958.
