Thelypteris reptans merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida selatan, Karibia, hingga Meksiko selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan creeping maiden fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris reptans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Friedrich Gmelin pada tahun 1951.
