Thelypteris retroflexa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah, Karibia, Venezuela barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan spleenwort maiden fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris retroflexa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Richardson Proctor pada tahun 1990.
