Thelypteris retusa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris retusa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1968.
