Thelypteris serrata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan toothed latticevein fern. Nama ilmiah Thelypteris serrata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antonio José Cavanilles pada tahun 1932.
