Thermopsis rhombifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat dan barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prairie thermopsis. Nama ilmiah Thermopsis rhombifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Traugott Pursh pada tahun 1823.
