Thesium costatum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mpumalanga hingga Eswatini. Nama ilmiah Thesium costatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur William Hill pada tahun 1915.
