Thesium hirtum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Thesium hirtum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Otto Wilhelm Sonder pada tahun 2019.
