Thesium hispidum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Thesium hispidum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1897.
