Thesium hystrix adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Thesium hystrix diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Arthur William Hill pada tahun 1915.
