Thesium matteii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Thesium matteii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1911.
