Thinopyrum intermedium subsp. barbulatum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tengah dan selatan hingga Asia tengah dan Pakistan.
