Thomasia macrocalyx merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Thomasia macrocalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 1845.
