Thomasia purpurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Thomasia purpurea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Townsend Aiton pada tahun 1821.
