Thunbergia erecta (Benth.) T.Anderson

Thunbergia erecta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Tanzania barat laut. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama terompet ungu. Nama ilmiah Thunbergia erecta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1863.
