Thunbergia erecta (Benth.) T.Anderson

Thunbergia erecta merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Tanzania barat laut. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama terompet ungu. Nama ilmiah Thunbergia erecta diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1863.
