Thunbergia hossei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Thunbergia hossei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1907.
