Thurya capitata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye selatan. Nama ilmiah Thurya capitata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1856.
