Thymus argaeus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye tengah. Nama ilmiah Thymus argaeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1859.
