Thymus holosericeus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Yunani barat (Kefallinia). Nama ilmiah Thymus holosericeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ladislav Josef Čelakovský pada tahun 1887.
