Thymus japonicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Korea, Jepang. Nama ilmiah Thymus japonicus diperkenalkan oleh Hiroshi Hara pada tahun 1952.
