Thymus leptophyllus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Spanyol tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Thymus leptophyllus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johan Martin Christian Lange pada tahun 1893.
