Thymus nitens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Prancis selatan. Nama ilmiah Thymus nitens mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1881.
