Tonestus pygmaeus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pygmy goldenweed. Nama ilmiah Tonestus pygmaeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Aven Nelson pada tahun 1904.
