Tournefortia fruticosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Tournefortia fruticosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Casimiro Gómez Ortega pada tahun 1798.
