Townsendia florifera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat barat laut dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Townsendia florifera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1880.
