Toxicodendron radicans merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Anacardiaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur, Guatemala, Bahama, hingga Bermuda. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan eastern poison ivy. Nama ilmiah Toxicodendron radicans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ernst Otto Kuntze pada tahun 1891.
