Trachypogon macroglossus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil. Nama ilmiah Trachypogon macroglossus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1832.
