Tradescantia cirrifera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Tradescantia cirrifera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1830.
