Nenas kerang adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Tradescantia spathacea ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Guatemala. Sebutan lain untuk nenas kerang adalah sosongkokan. Nama ilmiah Tradescantia spathacea diperkenalkan oleh Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
