Tragia crenata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Tragia crenata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Michael George Gilbert pada tahun 1992.
