Tragopogon dubius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran) yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Xinjiang dan Himalaya. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow salsify. Nama ilmiah Tragopogon dubius diperkenalkan oleh Giovanni Antonio Scopoli pada tahun 1771.
