Tragopogon lamottei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Prancis hingga Spanyol. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan jack-go-to-bed-at-noon. Nama ilmiah Tragopogon lamottei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georges Rouy pada tahun 1882.
